Passed away peacefully at Waitākere Hospital on Thursday, 13 March 2025, surrounded by his loving family, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Doreen. Treasured dad of Justine and Lynette, father-in- law to Brett and Glen. Adored grandad of Jessica, Rebecca, Lauren, and Seth. A service to celebrate Rex's life will be held on Friday, 4 April 2025, at Morrisons Funerals, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson, commencing at 12:30 pm. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Waitākere Hospital's Muriwai Ward. We could not have done this without their love and compassion towards Rex. You will be dearly missed. Due to Doreen's ongoing recovery, the family kindly requests no visitors to her home after the service.
